Viking 4x4 is built private by design. The short version: we don't collect your data, because the app doesn't send it anywhere. Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
Viking 4x4 is published by Elite Apps LLC (“we”). This policy covers the Viking 4x4 iPhone app, its Apple Watch companion app, and this website.
What data does the Viking 4x4 app handle?
The app reads and writes workout data — heart rate samples, workout duration, activity type, and estimated calories — using Apple's HealthKit framework, with your explicit permission. All of it is stored on your device and in your Apple Health library. Viking 4x4 has no user accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising identifiers. We never see your heart rate data.
What about HealthKit specifically?
- Health data is used only to run workouts and show your reports and trends.
- Health data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or marketing.
- You can revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- Deleting the app removes its data; workouts saved to Apple Health remain under your control in the Health app.
What about the Apple Watch app?
The Watch app runs the workout session on your wrist and sends live heart rate and calories directly to your paired iPhone over Apple's on-device connection. Nothing passes through our servers — we don't have any. The workout is saved to Apple Health from your Watch.
Subscriptions and purchases
Unlimited Workouts subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID. The app checks your subscription status with Apple's StoreKit on your device. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
What does this website collect?
This site sets no cookies and runs no ads or third-party trackers. If we measure traffic, we use cookieless, aggregate-only analytics (page counts — no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles).
Children
Viking 4x4 is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
