Viking 4x4 is built private by design. The short version: we don't collect your data, because the app doesn't send it anywhere.
What data does the Viking 4x4 app handle?
The app reads and writes workout data — heart rate samples, workout duration, activity type, and estimated calories — using Apple's HealthKit framework, with your explicit permission. All of it is stored on your device and in your Apple Health library. Viking 4x4 has no user accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising identifiers. We never see your heart rate data.
What about HealthKit specifically?
- Health data is used only to run workouts and show your reports and trends.
- Health data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or marketing.
- You can revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- Deleting the app removes its data; workouts saved to Apple Health remain under your control in the Health app.
What does this website collect?
This site uses cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page counts only — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles). We don't run ads or third-party trackers.
Children
Viking 4x4 is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
